Orange, Massachusetts – June 21, 1927

On June 21, 1927, a man and woman took off in a small airplane from the Buttonwoods Airport in Warwick, Rhode Island, and flew to Orange, Massachusetts.   As the plane was taking off for its return trip to Rhode Island the wheels struck a rut and the plane flipped over.  The plane was badly damaged but the couple was not hurt.
