Berkley, Massachusetts – February 16, 1957

     On February 16, 1957, a 28-year-old pilot was taking off at Myricks Airport in Berkley when his engine failed while he was at an altitude of 100 feet.  His plane crashed at the side of the runway and he was criticaly injured.
