Londonderry, New Hampshire – November 16, 1980
On November 16, 1980, a Beechcraft Musketeer with four people aboard took off from Beverly Airport in Massachusetts bound for Manchester, New Hampshire. As the airplane was passing over Londonderry it developed engine trouble, and the pilot was forced to find a place to make an emergency landing. He selected the apple orchard of Andy Mack and came down between the apple trees. The aircraft suffered a bent propeller, broken landing gear, and broken wingtips, but nobody aboard was injured. The plane was later removed by a flatbed truck.
