Griswold, Conncticut – July 1, 1962
On July 1, 1962, four men took off in a light plane from the Pachaug Airport in Griswold. Just after becomming airborne the plane crashed in a brush covered field. Nobody aboard was injured, but the plane was damaged. The pilot blamed hot, humid, conditions creating thinner air.
