Canton, Massachusetts – March 2, 1975

     At about noon time on March 2, 1975, a Cessna 182 with four men aboard left Norwood Airport for an aerial tour of the Boston area.  About fifteen minutes into the flight the aircraft developed engine trouble and crashed on the property of the Blue Hills Country Club in Canton.  All aboard sustained serious injuries. Two passengers were taken to Norwood Hospital, while the pilot and the other passenger were transported to Carney Hospital in Boston.
