Arlington, Vermont – February 11, 1967
On February 11, 1967, four Canadian men boarded a Beechcraft 35 Bonanza and took off from Canada bound for Boston to attend a National Hockey League game. While in-route the plane encountered severe weather and the tail section separated from the fuselage causing the plane to crash in Arlington. The plane came down about 150 yards from the intersection of Rt. 313 and Sandgate Road. All four men perished in the accident.
