Foster, Rhode Island – April 8, 1975
On April 8, 1975, a 53-year-old man from Orange, Massachusetts, was piloting a small single-engine airplane over the Foster area when it was seen to crash and burn in a thickly wooded section off Rams Tail Road near Central Pike. The pilot did not survive.
The aircraft was a green and white Cessna 182M, Skyline, Reg. #N71550.
