Woonsocket, Rhode Island – August 30, 1931
On August 30, 1931, a Worcester pilot was attempting to take off from the Woonsocket Airport when the plane was caught in a gust of wind and crashed into a parked car. There was minimal damage to the plane and a the car and the pilot was not injured.
