Whitinsville, Massachusetts – September 2, 1946
On September 2, 1946, a single-seat Cub airplane with an 18-year-old pilot was taking off from a private field in Whitinsville. When the plane reached an altitude of 300 feet it was seen to stall and crash, killing the pilot.
