Wareham, Massachusetts – March 16, 1947
On March 16, 1947, a 32-year-old pilot was fatally injured when the small plane he was flying crashed into a cranberry bog in Wareham. He was taken from the wreckage in critical condition and died a short time later at Tobey Hospital.
