Trumbull, Connecticut – December 23, 1934
On December 23, 1934, two men took off in a small plane from Danbury, Connecticut, bound for Hartford. While in route the plane’s batter went dead necessitating an emergency landing. The plane came down and glanced off the top a tree at the side of a pasture before striking the ground. The plane was damaged but the occupants were not hurt. The type of aircraft was not reported.
