Plymouth, Massachusetts – September 6, 1971

     On September 6, 1971, a Cessna 172K, (Reg. No. N79205), took off from Plymouth, Massachusetts, with two people aboard.  While flying over the Plymouth area, the aircraft encountered adverse weather conditions and visibility fell to near zero.  The aircraft crashed and burned in a thickly wooded area in Plymouth.  Neither occupant survived.
