Newton, Massachusetts – November 28, 1954
On November 28, 1954, a 28-year-old pilot was flying a small Civil Air Patrol airplane over the Newton area when the aircraft developed engine trouble. The pilot made an emergency crash-landing on a farm. The plane suffered minor damage and the pilot was not injured.
