Narragansett, Rhode Island – March 20, 1955
On March 20, 1955, two men took off in a Taylorcraft airplane from a private landing field at Canonchet Farm in Narragansett. Shortly after becoming airborne the plane crashed nearby in a thick brushy area. Neither man was injured, and the plane suffered minor damage.
