Laconia, New Hampshire – August 27, 1956
On August 27, 1956, a lone pilot was making a landing approach at the Laconia Airport when his light plane crashed from an altitude of 70 feet. Witnesses said the plane was not operating at full power. The pilot received serious injuries in the accident and the plane was wrecked.
