Hamilton, MA. – September 10, 1960

Hamilton, Massachusetts – September 10, 1960

On September 10, 1960, two men were flying in a small private plane over the area of Flying Horse Farm in Hamilton, Massachusetts.  On the ground, at the farm, was the fiance of one of the men.  The plane made a pass over the farm and all parties waved to each other.  As the plane was turning to make a second pass the engine suddenly stalled and the plane crashed onto the racetrack area of the farm killing both men.  Both men were lieutenants in the U. S. Air Force, but were not on duty at the time of the accident.
