Concord, Massachusetts – October 28, 1979

     On the night of October 28, 1979, a Navion aircraft, (#N2412T), with a family of four aboard, was attempting to land at a private airfield in Concord during foul weather, when the airplane clipped some tree-tops before crashing into a private home on Monson Road.  A 12-year-old girl aboard the plane perished in the accident, while the husband, wife, and another daughter were seriously injured.  The home was vacant at the time of the crash, and there were no reported injuries on the ground.
