Clinton Beach, Connecticut – August 26, 1928
There are few details of this accident.
On August 26, 1928, a young student aviator took off in a small airplane from Curtis Field near Hartford and crashed on Clinton Beach. The plane was damaged but the student wasn’t hurt. He was subsequently arrested when it was discovered that he didn’t have a pilots license yet.
