Andover, Massachusetts – April 18, 1948
On April 18, 1948, two men were flying 1,000 feet over the Andover area when their two-seat aircraft developed engine trouble. The pilot made a crash landing into a wooded area and although it was damaged, it didn’t catch fire. Both men received minor injuries.
