Woodbury, Connecticut – December 18, 1969

     On the evening of December 18, 1969, a 38-year-old New Jersey man took off from Nashua, New Hampshire, in a Cessna 150 (Reg. No. N6730S) bound for New Jersey.  At about 5:30 P.M. the plane crashed in a wooded area in northern Woodbury killing the pilot.   There was no fire, and the accident remained unknown until the wreckage was spotted by a passing bus driver the following day.
